A beloved husband, father, grandfather, and an extraordinary leader, Gabriel Hatega lived a life of service, dedication, and compassion. Born in Nyarusiza, Kisoro District, he rose from humble beginnings to a distinguished career, including 31 years with Unilever Uganda and five transformative years leading the Private Sector Foundation Uganda.
Gabriel was a proud Rotarian, earning the Paul Harris Fellow recognition for his contributions to community service. His commitment to excellence extended to serving on various boards, enriching Uganda's private and public sectors.
Known for his wisdom, humility, and love of life, Gabriel inspired all who knew him. His legacy is a testament to hard work, kindness, and an unwavering commitment to making the world a better place.
